Penguin Plunge 2009 : The second annual Penguin Plunge will be held on Sunday March 1st, 12 PM at Nyack's Memorial Park. This year the Plunge will benefit 7 year old South Nyack resident Ashley Gankiewicz who at 3 months of age was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and suffers from multiple disabilities. Ashley's health care bills and out of pocket expenses average $25-$30, 000 yearly. Please send your tax deductible donations, with checks made out to the South Nyack-Grandview Police PBA/Ashley Gankiewicz, at 282 South Broadway, South Nyack, NY 10960.
